We call it “One off” because you are actually piggybacking off an established event or holiday. ”One Off” the event could already be on your friends and families schedule giving them extra incentive to attend!
New Years Eve
Awesome! People love to get dressed up so now you have given them a great place to go! Being with friends and family and bringing in the new year together is really special
College Homecoming
Give all your college buddies a reason to return to campus. Campus probably has a gorgeous chapel and other facilities to make your day special plus there are all sorts of activities to participate in
Fourth of July
The heat of the summer provides an excellent excuse to have a laid back casual wedding. Back yards in bloom, tents, grills plus bonus fireworks!
Christmas
People have time off and the family is together.
If it’s a montage type thing from chhiolodd to adulthood, Through the Years by Kenny Rogers would be a really good choice. I don’t know when it was popular but I’m sure it’s on youtube.Another good one is Over the Rainbow there’s a ton of indie versions of it out there.I wouldn’t pick too many for the simple reason that the slide show shouldn’t last any longer than a couple songs. These are becoming popular, and I like them, but the complaint that has started cropping up is that they’re too long. To be a bit blunt, the people most interested in them are the happy couple and their parents/sibs. Most other folks have an attention span of about 3 minutes, so you might keep this in mind.
